He as been accepted as a Construction Expert and been qualified to provide Expert Testimony in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and under various Rules of Arbitration in Ontario, New York and Michigan. He has authored reports and provided Expert support in numerous mediation settings. He has provided the executives of contractors, owners, subcontractors and design professionals with advice and support on troubled construction projects, on the design and establishment of administrative processes and on the implementation of major construction projects.

As Director of Commercial and Construction Claims, Amjad plays a leadership role in shaping the quality and content of the firm’s service offerings. His extensive educational background, together with 15 years of planning, scheduling and EOT analysis provides our clients with an understanding of construction time management and analysis on which to develop and manage major construction projects and disputes and upon which to base sound business decisions. Since joining Pearson in early 2023, Amjad has prepared analysis and reporting in rebuttal, assertive EOT claims and Expert Reports on hospital projects, keynote bridge disputes and environmental water treatment plants.

Souvik provides Pearson clients with delay analysis, monthly progress and schedule update reporting and guidance in complying with complex contractual scheduling requirements. With 13 years of experience in the planning and scheduling of large scale infrastructure, residential, commercial and institutional projects in Kuwait, Ethiopia, Nigeria and India, Souvik has a high level of proficiency in the use of P6, MS Project and Deltek software. His is a member of PMI and AACE Toronto Chapter and brings the most current thinking in the time control of construction to all of his work.

Shawn is a claims analyst and provides analysis, data collection, graphics and presentation material for our Expert Report and for claims prepared on behalf of our clients. He has gained a PMI Registered Certificate in Project Management and is an accredited LEED Associate. Familiar with many current software applications including document database systems and scheduling software, Shawn provides support to all members of the Pearson Consulting team.

Andrew is a seasoned planning and scheduling professional having gained practical construction experience working in Europe and Canada with a multi-national Civil Constructor. Andrew provides the thoughtful assembly of Baseline Schedules, coordinating and injecting sequencing efficiencies into our client’s complex construction projects. He provides discipline to the maintenance of project schedules through schedule updates and the generation of progress reports reflecting contractual requirements. His detailed analysis of the causes of project delay often forms the basis of client’s claim reports.
